Raul Gonzalez Blanco: No Raul in Raul Madrid anymore........

We knew it was always coming, but still were never prepared for it, Monday Jul 26 2010, Real Madrid said goodbye to its very soul, Raul Gonzalez Blanco, The White Spirit, Lord of the rings, Prince of Madrid, El Siete, El capitan. A week should never start this way when you have to see your favorite player say goodbye to your favorite club with tears in his eyes, but thats exactly how it was when Raul waved off to his die hard fans who came to say goodbye to him in the stadium.

In 1992 Raul came from the arch city rivals of Real, Atletico Madrid, in a dramatic turn of events, when then president of Atletico, Jesus Gill, without any explanation, called off the youth program, and 13 year old Raul found a new white house. Jesus later described Raul as his personal bête noire. On October 29 of 1994 when Real's future captain stepped very first time on the pitch in blue jersey, he was the youngest player ever to play in Real's senior team at 17 years and 4 months. Come season 1994-95 he got his first of 6 Ligas while 3 as captain. Not only that, in 98 he helped Real reclaim the all exclusive UEFA Champion's league, he further went on to win it twice in 2000 and 2002, while also winning 2000 UEFA golden boot, awarded to competition's top scorer, twice in a row. His personal honors include top scorer of the world in 1999, Fifa world player of the year, bronze, and European player of the year, silver, in year 2000, as well as top scorer of Liga in 99 and 2001.

Finally Raul called off his 16 year long career for Real Madrid as a player after becoming its record goal scorer with 323 goals in 741 appearances, even beating the likes of Hugo Sanchez, Alfredo De Stefano. Outside of that left foot will no longer haunt the goal keepers of opposite teams, there won't be anymore threatening runs by any number 7, and Raul bids goodbye to Raul Madrid....... All gloomy, right? Nopes, no way... you must be a retard to think that Raul will ever go out of Raul Madrid, he is just taking a small leave, don't trust me?

“Real Madrid became my home,” Raúl said Monday. “I think that one day I will return to the club.”

And we will be waiting for our El Capitan to come and take over as El Presidente

The Adventure of Raul Gonzalez Blanco is suspended for a while till he makes a return to his favorite club, his favorite fans will be waiting for their favorite player....... Simpere Raul

One more Raul video, with highlights of his first match for Real Madrid senior team, he is still sitting with his team C
