how awful is this! it reminds me of PC's over-acting days. "Live each day like it's your last"....how often have we heard this?? a BIG YAWN! This movie will prove that RK is nothing without Katrina Kaif..hehehe :P
Longer trailer still looked better, though I am stil confused what the movie is going to be. chick flick, rom com, something serious? Though that all is well joke was cool And Anon, RK I don't think is doing anything good with this movie. He was doing much better with WUS, and Rocket and all, this looks kinda confused and bad
The Pancham touch is smart and subtle in the title song‘s background; the enthusiasm quotient, in large part by Nikhil D’Souza and Monali Thakur’s vocals, is obvious and addictive. The second title song, featuring Vishal and Shilpa Rao is completely different and fuses Vishal Shekhar’ish rock with the Indian impressively! Lucky Ali completely rocks Hairat; familiar Vishal-Shekhar territory, no doubt, but they innovate even within that and produce lovely results, but Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s Aas paas khuda, despite the captivating arrangements, is tepid, tune-wise. With its strong Salaam Namaste hangover, if Tumse hi tumse still works, it is solely because of Shekhar and Caralisa’s spirited vocals. The soundtrack truly takes off with Tujhe bhula diya and I feel good; the former is a lyrically-staid judai track, incredibly jump-started by Shruti Pathak, Mohit Chauhan and Shekhar’s fabulous vocals and sparkling mod-qawali phrases, while the latter is absolutely breezy with a punchy hook! It is usually expected that Vishal Shekhar get their sound very right; here they do – no surprises. The tunes do start to sound similar to their earlier soundtracks, but then they have this knack of getting perfect hooks that works big time. Anjaana Anjaani’s music is no exception!
Just four days after the first poster of Ranbir Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra starrer Anjaani Anjaani became public, director Siddharth Anand told HT City it is being withdrawn after fans pointed out its stark similarity to that of the 2009 British film An Education, right down to the way the actors have placed their hands.
“We have withdrawn the poster after we learnt of the similarity. We will now have a fresh photo shoot done.” he says, calling it a “co-incidence”. “We based this poster on an image from a fashion magazine. It had nothing to do with the British film. Anyway, images don’t have a copyright, so such a mix up can happen,” he says.
Interestingly, the film’s storyline is also strikingly similar to 1999 French film, The Girl On The Bridge, in which the protagonists meet on a bridge when both are about to commit suicide. But Anand defends himself, saying, “No one knows the entire story of my film, how can they say this?”
Fans aren’t too amused about all the copying. “This is sooo chheap!” writes Karankapur on pinkvilla.com. “Can’t they be original? Wasn’t copying films enough that they’re copying posters now?” writes Anon.
Pretty ordinary trailer, honestly it seems kinda bad.....
ReplyDeleteRanbir Kapoor actually is looking bad, he is carrying forward his goofy mannerisms, Priyanka actually seems pretty bad.
I think this is more interesting that IHLS and Aisha combined. Maybe it will have a story?
ReplyDeletehahaha you are too hopeful, but this seems like a bad movie of your RK :P

I haven't listened to all of them but I really like Hairat so far. Perfect song for listening in the car.
