Cricket = WWE

For a nation marred by allegations of nuclear proliferation, largest exporter of terrorism, hideout of Osama Bin Laden, Dawood Ibrahim, a nation on the verge of being declared as a failed state, and right now 100s of 1000s of flood victims, latest controversy actually dosn't sound too bad. But if we see the larger picture, can you actually trust one soul out there wearing Paki/Indian or any shirt for that matter, that he/she is playing FOR the nation?

Cricket has always been our religion of sorts, these people have become the priests who slept with little boys in the Vatican. I think everything has become a WWE match, with pre decided matchups and results. for more than 100 years in the game of cricket, there used to be 22 players and millions of spectators, now its like those 22 have become the spectators, and we have become the clowns, who trust these bastards.
Its not just about Pakistan, but the fact how deep rooted the nexus has become, I also don't think that it is limited only to Paki cricketers, match fixing has become prominent in every nation.

  1. first Match fixing scandal was the reason i started losing interest in Game . every bad performance and u start questioning is this fixed or not all the time . but it was the likes of kumble , dravid , srinath , laxman , sehwag who brought some integrity back but the current crop of players are more interested in flashy life style and quick earning so i wont be surprised if something similar comes for Indian players too .

  2. yeah Neo that was the time when a whole lot of people lost their faith on cricket, since then no game has been played which was seen as scot free from everyone.

    Now the marked noted are rumored to vbe found in captain Salman Butt's room, this has led many people to ask for a refund of the tickets they bought for Pak Eng ODI. How Paki team and cricket will come out of this debacle is anyone's guess, but IPL, now this, has certainly made me think of it as a staged fight as in WWE
