I'm not dumb: Katrina
Kabhi introspective, kabhi frank... Katrina speaks her heart
You keep getting these 'hottest', 'sexiest' awards year after year – and now do hot item numbers too – while asserting that you're the frumpiest among your sisters. Explain the contradiction.
On screen, obviously, I do work to look glamorous, that is my job and looking that way is my presentation for my job. But I don't go to bed like that.
Off screen and in my everyday life, however, I don't want to walk around like that. Whoever wants to be my friend or would like to come near me for any reason, I want them to see me. I don't want them to see a person like that. That's not me.

Anytime some comes out and says I am not dumb it reminds me of that Meg Whitman woman saying I am not a witch! This will help Katrina as much as that helped Meg :D

ReplyDeleteIn a recent interview to Times of India, Katrina claimed she is not dumb.
Lets find out.
She mentions in the interview that she was 8 years when the Berlin wall fell. Going by the history books, Berlin wall fell in 1989 which would make Katrina's birth year 1981 which would make her 29 years old.
But on record she has mentioned she is 1984 born. No wonder Deepika wanted to check out her passport.
Comments??
Yep, she outed herself as a liar with that reference. I'm waiting for some PR spin control to say she was misquoted. Why lie? Own your age. 29 is no longer a major career-ender in BW. Look at Priyanka,Kareena and Aish.
ReplyDeleteWhat I find interesting is how she points out that her mother was the sole parent but then when Kat entered BW, she changed her name from Turquotte (mother's maiden name the family used after the divorce) to Kaif (surname of Kashimiri father who left family). IMO, very disrespectful to the parent who raised you.
Whoever **cough, salman, cough** guided Kat early on, probably recommended she lie about her age (for longer shelf life in BW) and change her name to Kaif, so it's recognized by the masses as Indian.
BTW, I'm glad TMK is a flop because I'm tired of Kat getting lead actress billing when she's only in movies for 30 minutes as eye candy. Perhaps, this will burst that air bubble in her head when she continually claims to have delivered "hits" and never a "flop".
I never knew about the name change. And the Kat being a golden mascot perception will certainly take a big hit now.
