SRK wishes Thackrey on his birthday

July 27, 2010

Shahrukh Khan, the Bollywood’s supertstar and the owner of Red Chillies Entertainment has wished Uddhay Thackrey on his 50th Birthday today.

Red Chillies Entertainment, wished the Executive President of Shiv Sena, Uddhay Thackrey, compliments on his birthday through a half page advertisement in Saamna, a newspaper owned by Shiv Sena.

This act by Shahrukh Khan is considered to be a move to pacify the angry Sena.

The relation between Shiv Sena and Shahrukh Khan went sour, when Shahrukh Khan showed his support for the Pakistani cricketers during the bidding of IPL 3.

Shiv Sena took to the street against Shahrukh Khan’s last release ‘My Name Is Khan’ for his gestures towards Pakistani Players.

The party was angry with him for speaking in favour of Pakistani cricketers for the Indian Premier League. Sena had asked for an apology from Shahrukh, to which he did not oblige.

Now through the advertisement the superstar has extended the olive branch towards Shiv Sena.

Shiv Sena is regional political party of Maharashtra, India.

  2. I don't think its too unbelievable, Shahrukh knows that his Ra1 is also around the corner, and they might disrupt things again, no point in antagonizing such criminals, spl with law and order situation so piss poor. Also I think that SRK has made his point clear, he stood by it, and eventually was the winner in MNIK case, but now doing this he will just be regarded as even bigger, for showing a bigger heart.
Anyhow, again, how authentic is the news, is still questionable.

  3. This is funny news! Does Red Chillies take out ads for every Maharashtra politico? Why this one and why now? BTW Ra.one is at least 8-9 months away and SRK with his muhphat ways will surely be in trouble before that - so this is pre-emptive bail!
