Just when you thought that this is it, now China can actually not beat us, they did it again.... Beijing-Zhangjiakou Highway in China’s north-east is again jammed. Barely a week ab\go when a staggering 10 day jam on the highway was cleared, everyone thought and was convinced by the govt that this is it, problem has been taken care of by the detours devised, looks like that was not the case.
Jam reappeared on the highway, the one which Chinese officials are saying might stretch till 17th Sept when new lanes will be open for public, that means a week. Thousands of shops selling food, drinks, jewelery, sleeping spots and consider this, relief drivers on hourly basis, have emerged on the side. If nothing, at least this will give a bump to the local economy.
This where signifies the kinda development of Chinese buying power, at the same time signifies the importance of infrastructure, hope our Indian politicians are looking and learning.
