I see Aamir Khan name mentioned as the best actor of India all the time, in TV shows, blogs, chatrooms and just among friends, and somehow I feel that this belief is misplaced. Aamir no doubt has always been one of the better actors, more like a competent actor, his movies have always been pretty good, and right now top star, but no way I can classify him as the best actor.
Aamir "The perfectionist" Khan is one of the most astute businessman more than anything else. The way he plays with media, how news channels and reporters love to eat from his palm is apparent from the fact that Aamir having fever has become a news item May be its his PR, or may be just the fact that media needed someone who gives them what they want, that is, gossip.
Last year, a Yash Raj film [Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi] and an Aamir Khan starrer [Ghajini] were released in the same month - on 12th December and 25th December, respectively. Now Yash Raj is bringing its new release, Rocket Singh- Salesman Of The Year on the same day... well almost [11th December], while Aamir too is bringing 3 Idiots on 25th December.

Well, lets hope that these 2 flicks change the BO status of BW this year the way Rab ne and Ghajini did last year.
